Feast of Tabernacles

Occurrences:  1

First Reference:  Yeshua 37:14

Now in the autumn of the year there came upon all Israel the Feast of Tabernacles, and Yeshua went walking near the temple.

See:  Feast of Dedication/Lights

Summary:  The Feast of Tabernacles is an eight-day Jewish harvest festival and holiday commemorating the forty-year period during which the children of Israel were wandering in the desert. The festival begins on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Tishrei, which can fall between late September to late October.

Scripture recounts how in the midst of this holiday, during Yeshua’s third year of ministry (36 CE), he was walking near the temple when Caiaphas, the High Priest, approached him and attempted to provoke him before the people who had gathered around him (Y:37:14-34).
