Summary: In the 7th Endowment, Heavenly Mother appoints the celebration of four festivals which coincide with the solstices and equinoxes of each year. The Festival of Harvest and Thanksgiving is celebrated on the autumnal equinox (7:4:27), and is appointed to be a time of gratitude, joy and quiet reflection in celebration of the blessings sown and harvested in one’s life. It is a day of happy harvest in which one gathers within their heart the blessings which come from God (7:4:45).
