First Reference: 3rd Endowment 28:3
Yet unto the Straits of Gibraltar did there go the wolf packs of the submarine corps; being determined and fiercely resolved to sink such ships of war as Rome might send to the aid of Londinium; for it was Londinium which the Romans thought the Drakonians would seize by force and not Petragia.
See: First Track, First World, Petragia, Rome
Summary: During Drakonia’s campaign to take the island fortress of Petragia (modern-day Iceland), a mighty fleet of submarines was sent to the “Straits of Gibraltar” to attack any ships deployed by Rome (3:28:1-6). Today, the Strait of Gibraltar is known to connect the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, separating Spain in Europe from Morocco in northern Africa. It can be assumed the scriptural use of “Gibraltar” is referring to the same geographic location aforementioned. However, it is not clear whether the name “Gibraltar” is used for the reader’s convenience, or if this was the actual name of the straight during the First Track of the world of the First Power.
