Summary: Levi is mentioned only in reference to his son John, who was one of Yeshua’s
most devoted followers. The Sunday following the crucifixion, John and Cleopas (Levi’s
steward) were traveling to Emmaus, when they came upon a fellow sojourner whom they
helped and invited to sup with them. It wasn’t until the man blessed and broke the
bread that John and Cleopas realized he was the resurrected Yeshua (Y:48:19-27).
