First Reference:  Beginnings 15:29

But when he drew nigh unto the borders of Perga, he caused that his army should march through the Narrows of Tiglath, and there in the deep and narrow lands did Elon meet the son of Yasher-Baal.

See:  Elon Zanoah, Perga, Remlah

Summary:  (c. 8,800 BCE) Elon Zanoah defeated Remlah, the Sumerian king of Shinar, at the Narrows of Tiglath (B:15:28-40). Elon’s men were waiting atop the hills overlooking the canyon. Having entered the Narrows, Remlah and his army fell victim to Elon’s trap, as they were bombarded with rocks and arrows from above. Remlah was taken captive by Elon to the walls of Shinar and killed before onlookers from the city. His body was divided into six portions and sent to the other six kings of the Sumerian Empire. Elon sent Remlah’s severed head to Yasher-Baal, Remlah’s father and king of Sumer.
