Sariah

Pronunciation:  seh-RAI-uh

Occurrences:  24

First Reference:  4th Endowment 16:62

And on the world of Terralee did the seasons quietly pass, and the years as gently move; and there was born in a poor and humble house a girl child which all men called Sariah; for she was filled with grace and beauty together mingled, singing from days of tender youth the songs of faith and hope together fashioned.

See:  Alcibiades, Terralee

Summary:  On the mortal world of Terralee, Sariah was the mortal embodiment of Areta, the Supreme Mother of Heaven (4:16:28, 62). In accordance with her divine intent, Sariah became a respected teacher and healer, and was eventually recognized as the founder and leader of the third dispensation of God. Sariah served as a humble physician in the city of Gidianna, where she became greatly loved by both the rich and the poor. She was eventually elected as the Presiding Matriarch of the city (4:17:12-13, 28). Her counsel and wisdom was sought by many during the rise of Alcibiades, a philosopher and sophist whose prosperity teachings gained wide acclaim, especially among the wealthy. Sariah taught extensively on the topics of faith and hope and godly trust (4:17:36—4:20:5).

At the age of 115, and after more than sixty years of teaching, Sariah ascended a mountain summit whereupon she witnessed a bright light that eventually parted to reveal her eternal Beloved, attended by a host of Cherubim. Stepping through the veil, Sariah was reunited with The One, to return to her state of immortality as Areta, the Supreme Mother of Heaven (4:19:66; 4:20:1-5). The teachings of Sariah were recorded and compiled, to be joined with those of Adamilus, Evelah and Noaeya (4:19:65-66).

Notes/References:

Be wise, therefore, and this truth consider; for there is no silence which comes from God save that which you yourselves create; for the words of both the Father and the Mother are always present, yet are there many among you who have not prepared yourselves to receive them.

4th Endowment 19:5

For the voice of God forever speaks, filling the airs round about you with songs of hope and joy together, being found itself in the singing of the birds and in the sighing of the wind, causing that even the trees and grass should dance before it.”
