Summary: During the First Track of the world of the First Power, the Praetorian Guard was a very powerful organization in the Drakonian Empire created to serve and protect the Emperor and other high ranking members of the military. A more elite and secret group of state police, referred to as the Stazzi, was eventually established to protect the Emperor — even from plots and treason rising from within the ranks of the Praetorian Guard (AZC — Stazzi).
