Xandalea

Pronunciation:  zan-duh-LEE-uh

Occurrences:  9

First Reference:  4th Endowment 3:6

Thus was God compelled to rush into the dreadful fray, and coming into a world called Xandalea they found a sweet and gentle race of pleasing and wondrous form, being themselves filled with fear and constant fright.

See:  Cherubim, First Cosmos, First Track

Summary:  Located in the cosmos of the First Creation, Xandalea was the native planet upon which the species of the Cherubim evolved. When First God, Areta and The One discovered the Cherubim, they were suffering and nearly extinct as a result of catastrophic planetary disruptions and upheavals. In the midst of a dreadful earthquake, God rescued the surviving Cherubim and whisked them away to the realms of Heaven (4:2:50-59 — 4:3:1-27).

Notes/References:

[...] “The second event, and by far the one with the greatest influence on the Adamic language was the discovery, rescue and inclusion of the Cherubim who were rescued by God on the world of Xandalea. This language, developed by the Cherubim during the course of their social evolution, had the greatest impact on what would later become the most beautifully spoken language ever to be uttered by the citizens of Heaven. Sixty percent of the Adamic language has its origins with the Cherubim.[...]”
