So reasoned Yaldabaoth within, and going forth he came again unto the Demiurge, and

Summary: Most often, the title “Dread Lord” (also “Most Dreaded”, “Most Dreadful”)
is used to address the Chief Demiurge, Yaldabaoth (E:10:18; 1:8:25-40; 5:10:35).
However, there are instances when the title is used in reference to Yaldabaoth’s
first emanation, Jehovah-Yahweh (2:1:11,39,55; 2:9:21).
And when he was concluded, [Shaemdiel] spoke boldly unto Yaldabaoth, saying: “Know

even as you will.
And Lucifer, speaking calmly in the midst of the Demiurge answered, saying: “It is
no small thing Dread Lord; for behold, the Gods of Heaven have descended unto the
earth, and even now have they taken charge over the children of men.”
