Azrael exposes the general intent of people “wanting” you to explain your personal
beliefs, and gives advice on how to handle such situations. It’s futile to discuss
your beliefs with someone who is already convinced of something else. If a person
is content in their own beliefs, there’s really no point in discussing yours.
Atheism will never take hold with humanity because it fails to address the emotional
and spiritual side of being human. How do you put the aesthetic response on a drawing
board? What’s the mathematical equation for love? For beauty?
Religion has failed because it’s nonsensical, and does not explain the real world.
The longer these belief systems are around, the more they don’t make sense, and people
are getting up and walking away from them. Intellectual honesty demands it.
“I have nothing against atheists. If it weren’t for Christians, atheism wouldn’t
“How do I know that man-made religions failed? Because I know atheists.”
There’s been a failure on both ends of the spectrum: Atheism has failed to address
the emotive and spiritual side of being human. Religion has failed to address the
“Faith without reason is dangerous. Reason without faith is blind.”
“So, whichever camp you’re in…you’re either in a dangerous place or you’re blind.
Take your pick. I offer you a third possibility: You can come to the True Gnostic
Church and learn how reason and faith go together and find yourself complete.”
Azrael addresses the power of speech, and how words and actions create reality and
- Accept responsibility for your life. You’re the one who can choose to change it,
or choose not to. Deliverance begins with the individual.
- Blind circumstance is a part of life. How will you choose to respond?
Studying the Song of God will “make you a stronger, better, and happier person than
you are now.”
The intent of man-made religion is to frighten you into submission and dependence.
God’s intent is to empower, uplift and enrich your soul to make you a stronger, morally
Accepting your humanity is the first step to becoming a truly moral person.
God does not live your life. Prophets and church leaders do not live your life. You
do. Be the master of your fate, be the captain of your soul. The best way to do that
is to first: accept your humanity. Your humanity is alright. If you really want to
know God, don’t go ask the Pope, don’t submit to religious authority, the first step
is accepting and knowing your self.
What kind of faith have you built for your self? How deep does it go? Faith is a
gift you give your self. Your faith is your treasure, unique to you. As long as the
demands of reason are satisfied, you are free to work on your faith.

Be you wise then, and fully knowing, for whatsoever thing which you believe, even
that is worthy of acceptance if it so be that you should find therein both reason
and joy, and beauty also, which very things would fill the sum of all your days with
a rich and happy purpose.
4th Endowment 18:38
Build in yourself a good foundation And all things are possible. Believe in yourself And
you will never fall. Because you do not believe in yourself You cannot believe in God. Because
you do not believe in yourself You are filled with great despair.
Book of Pearls 12:1
For I would not have you think that to be religious is to be righteous also. For
I delight not in the assembling together of churchgoers who are made to contend one
For what doctrine alone shall make a man righteous? Behold, I say unto you, there
is given not one; for only God can make the righteous so;
Which God is made manifest in that the righteous should love the children of men
even as their own soul.
In silence the mystery is preserved,
In hearing, the mystery is awakened.
Those who know speak little,
Those who speak know less.
Guard the sacred with silence,
And the sacred will blossom like a rose.
Live the sacred,
And you will live forever.
Give forth words with which to argue,
And contentions will arise.
Meet an argument with an argument,
And peace will disappear.
Let frustration seize your words,
And you become the captive.
Resent those who would contend,
And you become undone.
Show your joy and speak it well,
And arguments fade away.
Be the light which does but dance,
And the darkest night will yield.
Rest in silence, quiet and deep
And all things will soon be known.
Be still and calm and quietly listen,
And the voice of God will speak.
And so, the Master will not argue,
Will not contend or fight.
But does instead most quietly rest
In the bosom of greater knowing.
Holding up for all to see
The joy which inward shines.
Providing for all a place of refuge,
Made quiet and oft sublime.

Drink from your faith like water, that it may fill your days with confidence and
hope; for except your ways be founded in faith, you shall surely fall beneath the
smallness of common men, to be consumed in doubt and folly.
