Pearl 10
The Eternal gives birth to all things,
All things flow from out of Her depths;
All things return to find again their birth.
The Eternal is always present,
Being both near and far,
Both within and without,
She moves and is unmoving.
Lying beyond the senses of the body,
She sings the song of sweet forever
To chase away the darkness.
Exuding into the lives of men and women
The essence of Her soul, the Light of lights.
For the song of the Eternal
Binds together all living things
To hold within the ethers.
Dwelling in all and through all,
She guides without interfering,
She acts without doing,
She nurtures without coddling,
She comforts without weakening,
She counsels to make strong
The child which comes from God.
Thus does the Master embrace the Eternal
To stand as one together,
Yielding here and leading there
Like lovers in a dance.
Moving with a graceful ease
Through the pages of mortal life;
To leave behind that trailing glory
Filled with dreams that onward lead.
Thus is the Master made imperturbable
Being calm midst blame or praise;
Like a willow in a mighty tempest,
Yield and strength increases,
Bend and you do not break.
